The new generation of NORD IE5+ synchronous motors is manufactured in-house for use in intralogistics as well as in the food and beverage industry. Our motors feature a compact and hygienic design in a very small space and thus ensure high corrosion resistance and easy cleaning.

DuoDrive Integrated Gear Unit
DuoDrive is a revolutionary integrated gear unit/motor concept with hygienic washdown design. It combines a high-efficiency IE5+ motor with a single-stage helical gear unit in one housing. Due to its optimized system efficiency, high power density, and very low noise emissions, it is extremely well-suited for airport baggage handling systems. Together with its simple Plug-&-Play commissioning, the complete DuoDrive solution results in a significant reduction in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) compared to other drive systems.

NORDAC ON/ON+ Variable Frequency Drive
NORDAC ON/ON+ VFDs were developed to meet the special requirements of horizontal conveyor technology and for use with the new IE5+ synchronous motor (NORDAC ON+). They are characterized by an integrated Ethernet interface, full Plug-&-Play capabilities, and a very compact design. NORDAC ON/ON+ variable frequency drives are a reliable, economic solution for IIoT environments.

ProfiSafe module for increased safety
Our optional SK TU4-PNS module offers extra safety. Safe inputs and outputs can be connected to the application with plug connectors. In addition, an encoder can be connected to monitor the safe drive solution. In combination with a safety PLC, the drive electronics provide reliable communication using PROFIsafe via PROFINET.
Functions such as Safely Limited Speed (SLS), Safe Direction (SDI) or Safe Operation Stop (SOS) can be easily integrated to achieve SIL 3 (Safety Integrity Level 3) or PLe (Performance Level 3) Category 4.
