The compact drive solution for dynamic applications

With the new NORDAC FUSION, we offer powerful, compact, sensorless drive solutions for maximum design freedom. Our IE3 asynchronous motors or IE5+ synchronous motors are combined with our decentralized frequency inverter NORDAC ON, available in the versions ON, ON+, and ON PURE.

How you benefit:

  • Extensive safety functions are integrated and can be implemented without encoders, reducing cabling requirements.

  • The frequency inverters have Ethernet on board, allowing them to be seamlessly integrated into existing networks. 

  • Using the sensorless CFC open-loop injection control, the NORDAC FUSION achieves short ramp times and 150% overload – ideal for dynamic applications.

NORD Drive Technology Optimizes TCO

An extremely effective measure to reduce the total cost of ownership is the use of highly efficient synchronous motors. These motors developed by NORD have an efficiency class that is in some cases better than IE5. The current standard in Europe is efficiency class IE3.
