  • Schneckenpumpen: Im 24/7-Einsatz passen Pumpenantriebe ihre Drehmomente an die unterschiedlichen Abwassermedien an. Dafür bietet NORD bietet eine große Auswahl an Getrieben mit niedriger Übersetzung und einem modernen, hochverlässlichen Dichtungskonzept.
  • Wasserschnecken: Unter extremen mechanischen wie umgebungsbedingten Anforderungen fördern Industriegetriebe der Reihe MAXXDRIVE® XC mit konstanten Drehmomenten bis 282.000 Nm große Wassermengen bei geringen Förderhöhen. NSD5 und das NORD-Dichtungssystem schützen sie gegen äußere Einflüsse.
  • Crusher / Shredder: Beim Zerkleinern zu recycelnder Stoffe halten Industriegetriebe der Reihe MAXXDRIVE® XC dank verstärkter Abtriebswellen und Überlastkupplungen extremen Stoßlasten und hohen Drehmomente stand. Der Getriebemotor ist langlebig, schützt nachgelagerte Aggregate und sichert die Prozessstabilität.

Low-maintenance with SAFOMI adapter

MAXXDRIVE® NORD industrial gear units are ideal for all heavy-duty applications. They offer high output torques ranging from 15,000 Nm to 282,000 Nm. The helical and helical-bevel gear units are housed in one-piece, torsion-resistant BLOCK housings and can accommodate large roller bearings. This makes them particularly robust and guarantees a long service life even under harsh operating conditions.

SAFOMI: Your solution for 24/7 applications and hard-to-reach applications

With our SAFOMI-IEC adapter, we further enhance the reliability of MAXXDRIVE® industrial gear units and make them particularly low-maintenance.

How it works:

  • The SAFOMI adapter is oil-tight and serves as an expansion chamber for the oil level during operation.
  • The oil level—and thus the required oil volume—is lower.

What this achieves:

  • Ölbehälter und -schläuche sowie der leckage- und verschleißanfällige Wellendichtring zwischen Getriebe und IEC-Zylinder entfallen.
  • Global approvals and certifications
  • The elimination of add-on parts means: less space required, less wear and tear, and less maintenance.

Our consulting concept is based on many years of experience in the production of electric motors and cooperation with customers from over 100 industries. This accumulated knowledge is continuously incorporated into the further development of our drives so that we can offer you suitable products for application optimisation.

IE3/IE5+ Induction Motors

High-efficiency smooth-running motors from NORD DRIVESYSTEMS, featuring a hygienic and sealed design, offer several key advantages:

High energy efficiency 

Thanks to their optimized efficiency (IE3 and IE5), they consume less electrical energy than motors in lower efficiency classes. This lowers operating costs and reduces energy consumption.

Hygienic, smooth housing

The smooth surface without cooling fins prevents dirt, dust, or bacteria from accumulating. This makes the motors particularly easy to clean and ensures they meet high hygiene standards (e.g., in food or pharmaceutical facilities).

Sealed design (TENV)

The motor is fully enclosed and has no ventilation openings. This prevents water, cleaning agents, dust, or particles from entering the interior.

Less maintenance

Since there is no fan and less dirt can get inside, there is less wear and tear and less maintenance required.

Quiet operation

Without fans, these motors generally run more quietly, which reduces noise levels.

Finishing for aluminium surfaces NXD tupH®

With its NXD tupH® surface finish, NORD makes the surfaces of drive units with aluminium housings particularly corrosion-resistant. The NXD tupH finish consists of a base layer, which transforms the top layer of the aluminium body into a corrosion-resistant layer. The combination with a sealer achieves extreme resistance with better hardness compared to an untreated aluminium alloy.

This finish prevents flaking or corrosive infiltration, meaning that the protective effect remains intact even in the event of minor mechanical damage. The surface finish therefore offers major advantages when used in hygiene-critical areas in the food, beverage and packaging industries, as well as in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. NXD tupH® surfaces are PFAS-free and food-compliant in accordance with the FDA, EU Regulation 1935/2004 and the regulations of Switzerland and the MERCOSUR countries.

Condition monitoring for predictive maintenance

With the new product "CONDITION MONITORING for PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE", NORD provides an application solution to serve requests for condition monitoring and predictive maintenance as well as Industry 4.0 and IIoT.
